The hotel was lovely and the staff attentive, unbeatable location in a quiet residential area with secure parking. Location: the property was not far from restaurants and sights around town, and the centre of Stellenbsich. Plus it was max 25 mins walk to the lake.

We had a great stay for 4 nights last November – the room had beautiful mountain views and there were coffee and a kitchenette available.

A stay at 5 Seasons-Guest House places you right in the heart of Stellenbosch, surrounded by lush vineyards, beautiful Cape Dutch mansions, and renowned golf courses. The enchanting, historical university town is just a stone's throw away, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration. The guest house itself is comfortable and cozy, with spacious rooms that exude South African charm. The staff, particularly Lee and Ane, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a variety of warm and cold dishes to satisfy everyone's taste buds. The tranquil pool area provided the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun, adding to the overall relaxation of our stay.
My kids wished there had been more kids-friendly amenities or activities available.

The rooms at 5 Seasons Guest House are absolutely delightful, with a blooming garden and a refreshing pool that create a tranquil atmosphere. It felt like my own little oasis! I loved how the French doors in both the bedrooms and private kitchen opened up to a lovely terrace. It was so lovely to enjoy the fresh air and start the day with a cup of coffee in the peaceful surroundings. Some rooms even offer views of the pool or garden, and let me tell you, it was a sight to behold! It added an extra touch of beauty and serenity to my stay. The standard room I stayed in had all the amenities I needed, from reliable Wifi to air conditioning to keep me comfortable. They even provided tea-and-coffee facilities, which was a nice touch. In the twin room, the private entrance made me feel like I had my own little space, and the cable TV was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring Stellenbosch.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the seating area in certain rooms. I found it a bit cramped, but I understand that others may still find it cozy and inviting.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
